Book Review: Damaged: A Kate Lange Thriller by Pamela Callow

WOW!

I have to admit, this book took me by surprise.  As a thriller writer, I know everything a thriller is supposed to produce to become a great story. But I must now humbly bow to a master. I found this free copy through BookBub and will now pursue the entire series.

Kate Lange has risen from a troubled past to beat the odds to become a formable lawyer, trying to fit in with a respected law firm. But her new company and the horrendous murders happening within Halifax has her tip-toeing through a minefield of danger and suspense.

Dealing with corporate politics and an unethical client, she must take care to following her instincts without losing her soul.  The story is fast-paced and overflowing with suspense.  Loved it from start to finish.
