The Alexandria Link by Steve Berry (Cotton Malone #2)

Colton Malone is back in another exciting story that pits the mystery of the ancient past against the greed of a secret society of billionaires. Colton must track down the lost Library of Alexandria to find an original copy of the Bible to prove that facts had been altered and that the Holy Land was never promised by God to the Jews. If the enemy finds this information, they plan to use it to create chaos which they can profit from. Meanwhile, Stephanie must discover a traitor in the U. S. Government before it’s too late.

Steve Berry serves us another historically rich adventure. As always, he discusses fact from fiction at the end of the novel. Fun read.

Chronicles of the Roc Rider by Aaron Volner

Beware the skull-eyed man!

Tanin is a Roc trainer. Zera is roc which is a massive hawk that will one day carry a full-grown man into battle. Both have been hunting a killer who murdered Tanin’s wife. When the killer uses a poisoned arrow to attack Zera, Tanin must team up with a soldier who is also hunting the assassin to find an antidote to save Zera and to stop the killings.

This is a fast-paced story of dark magic, sword fights and a battle for good over evil. Very enjoyable.
