Review of The Last Child by John Hart

Review of The Last Child by John Hart

This story was recommended to me by my editor, Mica Scotti Kole. It is a suspense triller that deals with a twin who has been abducted and her brother who has not given up finding her and the police officer who cannot let go of the unsolved case. Mr. Hart has put together an intricate jigsaw puzzle that has numerous unrelated pieces that do not truly come together in the manner that the reader expects. Nothing is what it seems until the final pages.
The story is brilliantly told and I will be searching out other titles by this author. He draws the reader in and makes the characters worthy of our attention and compassion. Highly recommended for those who like their stories realistic and fast paced.
Warning: this novel deals with adult themes and can be disturbing to some readers
