Shelter by Erica R. Stinson

The story follows Gabriel, a father struggling to find a job to support him and his daughter, Anne who is deaf. While travelling to a potential job interview, the two suffer an accident during a blizzard and find shelter in a partially completed mansion. But his shelter is unlike any other. Trapped with time running out, Gabriel and Anne must work together to escape their prison—their shelter.

This was a very believable story and as a parent, I was thrust into Gabriel’s character wondering what I would do to save my child.

I was given an advance reading copy in exchange for an honest review.
