The 14th Colony by Steve Berry

The U. S. government calls Cotton Malone back out of
retirement to perform a recon on a Soviet ex-KGB agent in Siberia. As he approaches the
dacha, they shoot his plane down with a surface-to-air missile. Thus starts a
race against time to avoid a nuclear holocaust on American soil. The key is an
event that goes back 200 years and Cotton and his team need to figure out the
clues to this mystery or all is lost.
Berry brings another wild ride while adding real historical
facts that might boggle the mind. I’m hooked on Cotton Malone.
