The U. S. government calls Cotton Malone back out of retirement to perform a recon on a Soviet ex-KGB agent in Siberia. As he approaches the dacha, they shoot his plane down with a surface-to-air missile. Thus starts a race against time to avoid a nuclear holocaust on American soil. The key is an event that goes back 200 years and Cotton and his team need to figure out the clues to this mystery or all is lost.
