Exciting climax!

This time, Kate must defend her boss, Randall Barrett, who is charged with the murder of his ex-wife, all while a sinister stranger watches from the shadows.

The story picks up right after DAMAGED, the first book in the series. I found that it took a long time for the story to get moving as the first part of the book was mostly review and reflection from the first novel. Once the story opened up, it moved at a fast and suspenseful pace, similar to the first book.
