Fall of Giants by Ken Follett Book #1 of the Century Trilogy

The Master storyteller’s epic series follows five families
across the last century. The story begins prior to the First World War from the
perspectives of both the poor and aristocratic families in England, America,
Germany and Russia. The story is highly researches as can be expected by Mr.
Follett, yet rather than dry history, he brings a human element to the story.
We see the dreams, losses and accomplishments of all the characters.
The story of World War 1, the fall of Imperial Russia and
the Soviet Revolution is back dropped to the rise of women and lower class
rights and the weakening of the aristocrats. I look forward to the next edition
to this exciting trilogy.
Highly Recommended.
