Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz
I had been hearing of this series, so thought it was time to dive in. It started tamely enough, shadowing after the video game, Hitman, which has children raised to become killers. But that is where this story left the other 2-dimensional illusion and became a full-throttle run away.
Evan Smoak is the NoWhereMan, a talented operative who helps those who have nowhere else to turn. But when one good turn becomes a complicated trap, he must use all his skills to find out who and why people around him are dying. This is the first book in a series, and I will definitely be chasing after the others.
Tons of suspense, action and high-tech weaponry for the hardcore thriller addicts.
