The Damage by Caitlin Wahrer
When a man is brutally raped and beaten, his family is uncertain how they can help. Catching the suspect is not the issue. It is the long, tedious, and uncertain justice system as well as the psychological damage both to the victim and his family members as they attempt to put their lives back together.
This is a story
of love, family, respect, betrayal, revenge and moving forward after trauma.
The story is told in both the present where a dark secret is being exposed, as
well as in the past when the incidents take place.
This is a
perfect fit for psychological thriller lovers that pray for that plot twist in
the end. There are more than a few in this story.
